I have just completely decorated my garden for tonight for my special lady tonight. It looks brill. When she comes round, should i just tell her it came out of the blue like atheists believe the world came about?

No, of course not - You tell her it was all your own work and you´re proud of it! However, don´t forget to mention:
1) If she falls over in the garden and breaks her leg on any of the numerous obstacles you´ve put there, it´s not your fault. You are not liable and you can´t be sued, as it was her choice to be silly enough to fall over in the first place.
2) Make sure she understands that you are the only good man in the whole town. All the others are just liars, cheats and criminals. Also, she´s yours and yours alone, and if you catch her talking to any other men, there´ll be hell to pay (literally!). She´ll understand that you´re just a possessive kind of guy and go along with that.
3) Explain that your property is very new - Not only did you decorate the garden today, you built the whole house yesterday. And last week you built the whole town all by yourself and populated it with all the dogs and kids she saw on the way down! If she tries to trick you by saying things like that can´t be true as she´s read that the town was founded in 1842 and her parents have lived there for fifty years anyway, just explain that that´s all a bunch of lies created by the town council to confuse and mislead people. She´s a compliant girl and will swallow the story – don´t worry.
PS: Whatever you do, don´t offer her any apple-pie.

Anyone can now verify the existence of God on their own central nervous system. [Main reason why the media don’t tell you this is that they can’t make any money out of it and they would have to tidy up their act completely].

Within every human being there is a residual dormant energy that lies at the base of the spine in the Sacrum bone. (Sacrum – Greek meaning Sacred). When awakened it passes up the spinal column and pierces the fontanel bone (at the top of the head, soft spot on babies). It then manifests as a cool breeze on the hands and head when the subtle system is in balance. The individual may then ask any fundamental question and if it is true the flow of coolness increases if it is false they stop or become hot.
With practice you can then verify if a news report on TV or in newspapers is true or not. More importantly if there is God or that Jesus was the Son of God. The very expression that we use when something is good, “cool” has come from the collective unconscious.

The process that triggers this step is called self realisation and this is exactly what occurred to Lord Buddha, he became an enlightened being which enabled his attention to reach more sublime insights into life. So one can see it is not exclusively Christian.

As it is a living process no belief is required but one must approach the phenomenon with an open mind and then like a scientist evaluate the results with total honesty. If one chooses to forgo the opportunity that is also your right it is not something that can be forced upon anyone.

This process can be achieved online and most major cities now have local centres where one can experience meeting others in this state of being. [One could say a state of Gnosis again from the Greek “To Know”. The knowing however is beyond the mind and intellect and we guess that’s why they were termed as mystics].

All meetings are Free of any charge!

What in the world are you doing?? That was really offensive you know. Atheists aren't dumb I can tell you that. I'm Christian but I know most atheists aren't dumb because they don't believe in God. Most seek a real and true answer and that's why they don't have a God yet! But here you are using sarcasm and such, which offends people when that shouldn't be the case. atheists are people too and they have feelings and people HAVE their reasons. Look, you can tell your special lady anything you want just don't offend other people in the process. Especially when you haven't even gotten to know them. Don't judge and you won't be judged. Jesus was really logical with His teachings and if you followed them (assuming you are Christian) then the atheists wouldn't have reason to attack us. I'm sorry, but that was a low blow and you should know better than to do that to other people.:(

You are oversimplifying things beyond the point of credibility.

For one thing, atheists do not make statements of belief. Belief is knowledge without empirical proof. Atheists reject religion in all its forms and make statements of knowledge, based on measurable and tested scientific observations. They do not think the world simply popped into existence. Are you truly that ignorant or just being facetious? How bitter you sound!

I'm not an atheist (nor a Christian) but I do not see their rejection of religion as a personal attack on my world view as you seem to. I understand and accept how the universe came into being the same way they do. I am a scientist. I just see the evolution of the universe as divine in itself.

You should tell your partner that the garden came from your human heart and leave religion out of it. It's not as if Valentine's day is a Christian religious festival! It is based on pagan Roman fertility festivals : )

To your perception it looks "brill" but perhaps she will or won't agree. Unfortunately your perception about the concepts of what atheists believe is also lacking logic. That "brill" garden you decorated wouldn't have arisen if the causes and conditions (i.e. fertilizer, good ground, the kindness of other's hard work to create whatever inanimate objects you put in it, and your ability to buy, etc.) weren't all correctly in place. One thing goes out of whack and nothing works, so what did you create then?

The concept of an omnipotent creator god is still illogical.

You obviously do not understand the difference between chance and natural selection so go off and do some research into the topic you moron.
Even us atheists do not believe in chance.

I think you're working too hard on your metaphor Stevie.

But have a great Valentine's Day. Your garden sounds very nice and I'm sure your lady will be happy.

Then you wonder why people such as myself are atheists. Could it be because of people like you who compare the creation of man to your decorating of your garden?!? You should NOT be the one preaching to anyone. It's not even about religion-you're just bored and dumb. You don't have a special lady, you're drunk and lying.
sad~

The difference is that she will be able to PROVE how your garden got decorated. She won't have to believe that some magical being decorated it.
See how easy that is?
