there used too be, but have decided to lower their standards, therefore mass production, hence being really cheap and sold in Argos.
Not very good for connections, picture quailty and reliability
All the best wg

wharfedale (its got an f and an e) are a very good company when it comes to electronics. they have a superior history when it comes to speakers in comparison to other compaines. also the picture quality on their tv's cant be that bad seeing as there are only 3 companies in the world (samsung, LG and one other) that make HD Screens. I think wharfedale use samsung.

WHARFDALE is a good brand in AUDIO.....
Wouldn't want a WHARFDALE TV....that's like a Sansui TV set
STICK with known TV brand names, you get better service and reliability.....

Not bad depends on what your needs are but for everyday use okay, for that something special something more substantial would be better.

Don't buy their CRT TV's or their videos - stereos OK - TVs were prone to problems! LCD's seem OK though - DVD players don't know - never had one
