I was just looking on the website zodiackiller.com the other day and wondered the same thing. That website (don't know how accurate or up-to-date it is) gave the impression that the prints have not been run against any crime database in the San Francisco area, or in the state of California; that they've been compared only to suspects who were later ruled out because the prints didn't match.
As far as BTK, he was found out from a floppy disk he mailed to the FBI (after asking them if they could trace him through it and being assured by them he could not--gotcha!) and DNA supplied by his daughter. Dennis Rader left no fingerprint evidence at the scene of any of his crimes. And what the heck is "Go Bush!"??? I wasn't aware that the President was involved in the BTK investigation....

I'm not sure, but he's one of the most famous killers in history,,,and go bush shy,,,,,,wtf,,,,,,,,BTK was living a normal life probably just like Zodiac , Wichita is only 2 hours away from me and my aunt and uncle live there and my uncle STILL goes in the house first to check it out,,,,,,there's way too many crazies in the world. Grow up. The next one could be your neighbor OR allready is.

hrm.. they can only match finger prints.. against once they arleady have..
:)
they probably don't have his finger prints in the data base
