which freeware enables me to open .eps file on windows OS?

Question

I know "ghost view" should do it, but can't find how to download it. googling "download GV for windows" didn't help.

Indeed Ghost View can open eps files... try this link for download (you need to download 2 files if I remember correctly, not sure though):

You could also use Adobe Photoshop to open this type of files, not sure if there is a demo version of it, else it isn't free.

You can use winrar to decompress zip files and a bunch of other formats. Other good programs are 7zip and winzip but in my opinion winrar is the best one. Fuctionalities are pretty similar for all programs: basically you can decompress a file simply by right-clicking it and by choosing the destination folder.

Winrar is available for free under a trial licence. The good thing is the trial period never ends so you can use it for free with no limitations.

Winrar opens all formats like .zip, .rar, .7z, .iso, .tar, .jar etc. That's why I recommend it.

The best program to decompress files is Winrar, you can unzip all kind of files!(.zip, .rar, .7z, .iso, .tar, .jar, .cab, .gz, .ace, .uue, .bz2, etc...)
