As a Registered Nurse, I help people who are suffering. Mahayana Buddhism has provide an optimistic view on suffering, provides hope, a positive means of ending suffering, through a balanced approach. Has given a new fresh perspective on life. Has helped my family {and myself) to clearly see things, situations, and people optimistically as they really are. This philosophy of life has taught us (producing in us) Patience, understanding, Compassion, Altruism, Peace of Mind, and has clearly helped us understand that our main purpose in life to help all people by loving them unconditionally {w/out negatively criticizing them, or judging them, or condemning them), because all people want the same thing, to be free from suffering, to have a calm peace of mind, and Happiness. Mahayana Buddhism has taught us meekness{=humility), how to sincerly forgive others, not to be so easily offended(as we used to be),
generosity, friendship, optimism, kindness, how to share in the joy of others(instead of being jealous of others as I use to be), and helps us to see the good nature of others. This middle way is slowly dissolving the cataracts from our minds, so we as a family can acquire and attain all we set our hearts and minds to do. We, our family of four, have only been Buddhists now for one year, and always strive to be as humbly teachable as possible, as we look forward with Optimism to what the future holds for us.

"But we all in life, of course, respecting each other's free will, must find our own path to happiness and peace of mind." The Middle Way is the Path which has proven itself to be very successful for my family {my wife, son, daughter, and myself) providing purpose, Peace of Mind, and Happiness.

**Happy Valentine's Day to Everyone.**

I think that for me I understand that I should not judge. On the "bad" side, I forgive very easily. I wonder if by forgiving so easily, I cheat people of learning their lesson for doing wrong to another person (me).

I don't know if what I have said is true. I'm still working on it.

It helped me calm my mind down quite a bit, due to the fact that it also taught me how to understand the nature of things around me. I'm less agitated, angry, sad, disturbed, etc. when things arise in my life that other people usually label as "bad" or "not good", and less clingy to issues and things that I used to think should have made me happy. Much more peace in my life than before.
