Thank you.
You have hit the nail on the head. The cath-lickers hate this fact. Baptist are the first Christian faith. The cath-lickers were Johnny Come Lately; just like the muslimbs.

Baptists get their name because they follow this practice of baptizism. Not the other way around. The Baptist faith did not come about until over 1500 years after Christ's death. John the Baptist got his name from the practice, not the religion. Read a history book. HECK! READ THE BIBLE!!!

in the self-discipline of high-quality judgment, there's a elementary regulation of noncontradiction. So, if "Jesus is the way" then, definite, all the different quite some religions are incorrect. in case you deny this end, they you ought to deny the regulation of noncontradiction, in which case you've entered into irrationality and there is no aspect in persevering with a communicate. those who make stupid statements like "all religions are literally an identical" or "they only call God by technique of a distinct call" have not examined the claims of different religions. research different religions and see which inserts actuality and adventure proper. once you've complicated questions, get passable solutions from helpful authorities (i.e. someone who's often used with what they're conversing about and performance taken the time to learn it thoroughly).

there is no wrong religion. and being baptized and being a baptist are two different things. baptism is a symbolic cleansing of the soul and lets you become renewed inside yourself. being a baptist means you choose the belief that baptism is a step on the path to go to heaven.

Baptism isn't exclusive to Christiany. Baptism is practiced in many of various religions including Christianity, Mandaeanism, and Sikhism. Christian baptism has its origins with the Jewish ritual of mikvah.
Also,

So...if you think that baptism proves the rightness of a religion, you're going to have to include a LOT of religions being "right".

Being baptized is a rite, not a religion. Do you call a person who goes to confession a confessionist?

John was called "the Baptist" because he baptized people. At the time this was a Jewish ritual.
The Baptist Church was founded in 1609 by John Smyth. http://www.answers.com/topic/john-smyth
+ Christians +
Christian is a name derived from that of Christ himself.
The name refers to all those who have been anointed through the gift of the Holy Spirit in Baptism; hence, the followers of Christ, the members of the Christian Church.
According to Acts 11:26 "it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians."
+ Apostolic +
The Catholic Church is apostolic because she is founded on the apostles, in three ways:
- She was and remains built on the foundation of the Apostles, the witnesses chosen and sent on mission by Christ himself;
- With the help of the Holy Spirit dwelling in her, the Church keeps and hands on the teaching, the words she has heard from the apostles;
- She continues to be taught, sanctified, and guided by the apostles until Christ's return, through their successors, the college of bishops, in union with the successor of Simon Peter, the Church's supreme pastor, the Pope.
