If no, then wouldnt it make sense not to kill , steal and lie to others families, simply for the reason that you wouldnt want it done to you? If everyone had the mentality that they could do anything to anyone at anytime, wouldn't society be a complete mess? Total anarchy?

Sounds like you should read the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx.
Basically the idea is, if you love your neighbor as yourself and take care of other as you take care of yourself there is no need for government and there will be a withering away of the "state".
Karl Marx stole the idea from Christianity and Judaism and his book might help you understand it better.

What exactly are you implying? Are you implying that Christians go around stealing, killing people, and lying? Maybe some do, but not all. It's the same with Muslims. I know I certainly don't steal, I've NEVER killed anyone (nor would I), and I try my hardest not to lie.
And actually, apparently people DO need moral guidance, whether it's from God or not. Look at society today. Wouldn't you say there's a lack of morality present?

What grade are you in? My eleven year old has a better grasp on world religious conflicts than you. Put down the pipe and quit living in your little dream land (or move in with MJ). The world has always Always ALWAYS been governed by military force. And I will point out to you, that it isn't Muslims against Christians. It's radical militant Islamic terrorists against EVERYONE ELSE. They even kill Muslims that they feel are to close to the infidels and their ways. Wake up. agree,anarchy is far from what any right minded individual would want . But is it necessary for this logic to come from a single source,you may have worked it out for yourself,read & become convinced or learnt from example,it dosent matter as long as you are doing the right thing.

of course i wouldnt like it.
to be a Christian is so much more than to be guided down a civil path in life. to have God in your life is to have a truck of blesses dumped on you throughout your every day. before i knew Jesus, i would go through life searching for somthing to fill my heart. and i tried many many things. drugs, sex, money. none of it will do. no matter how much you get, it can never be enough. then i got to know Christ. and in him i am complete. i am full and my heart no longer longs for something more. for i have all that i need now. i have an endless love that i know will always be there with me until the end of time. thats why im a Christian. thats why i praise him. thats why i bow down and follow these "guidelines"
now do you see how much more there is to it all?

i'm not quite sure why you're bringing this up. Are you trying to lump all Muslims together because of what's happening abroad? Then you are indeed narrowminded. The Quran says nothing about going around deliberately killing people etc as you claim.

As a Muslim I can tell you this
We believe in God because he is our creator. We believe he made us to worship him.
As for the Anarchy thing you are right, we don’t need a God to tell us to well behave.
But some people need to have his fear in their hearts not to commit crimes.
