its taking like 2 hrs per movie is that right ?

Actually, 2 hours is pretty quick! Those movie files take a long long time, sometimes all day. I've actually had one take over 2 and a half days...but thats rare. You are downloading a torrent file, right? Im not sure about all the clients, but I know that BitComet has a priority setting, which I believe speeds it up a little bit. Also, downloads that have a high number of peers sharing it will go alot quicker....I think....

bit torrent seems about the fastest method, vary the download sites too - perhaps closer to home.

Also, try downloading off peak when the internet can be quieter, eg. during the middle of the night, uk time, when much of the uk and usa are asleep. Also, not much business traffic on there.

Get a 50MB Fiber connection, its runs about $5000.00 a month but if its speed your after then there ya go!
