Simplicity and ease of use and not too demanding on hardware

Incompatibility with a lot of newer software applications

Get UBUNTU. It's free, reliable and up to date.

If your computer has 256MB of RAM get a full version. If less get XUBUNTU.

older system - was good - but will not run the new dual
processors, i think
