I havent spoken to my ex since October and out of the blue hes been ringing my land line the past few days, the first time i was at my current bfs, so my parents took his number and i tried ringing it to tell him to leave me alone but it said the call cannot be connected.

He then tried at about 1am this morning when me and my family were in bed, my dad went mad at me this morning as it woke him up.

I unfortunately have forgotten my exs land line number and dont want to go round to his because it would cause too much trouble. I have emailed him twice now and dont know what else to do.

What can i do now? any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Email him and tell him quite firmy that his intervention in your life is not welcome and if he persists you will seek legal advice to instigate an injunction to keep him away from you! If he takes no notice carry out your threat!

It seems weird that he's suddenly making contact four months after you last spoke. What you need to do depends on whether you feel threatened in any way by this unwanted contact.

Does he know that you don't want to hear from him? Hopefully that's what you told him in your emails/when you answered the phone at 1am?

Some folks seem to like a bit of drama after the end of a relationship. You know him quite well, so you need to judge whether he will give up and go away if you tell him that is what you want, or whether there is any sort of threat in this.

If you really want the nuisance to stop, you have to make sure that the loveable you that he remembers is kept hidden so there is no gratification in the unwanted contact - be quite direct about having moved on, if and when he attempts contact.

what an awaful situation for you to be in. I really feel for you, i had this problem when i split with my ex. He would not leave me alone, would turn up at my house with presents etc. Send flowers to my work, just would accept that we were over, and it put strain on my new relationship. I just kept very stern and told him that there was no way we would ever have a chance of starting agin, and ignored anything calls in the end and returned any flowers. Eventually he gave up and accepted iw as happy in a new relationship. We even keep in contract via email (would never give him my mobile or home address). Good luck and stay very stern, just ignore any calls or anything you get from him. And if need be, contact the police. Don't take any s*1t off him.

Gosh! You're ex is a desperate guy!
Same here but I just ignore him if he tried to call ot send me SMS.
Just do nothing but if he start really harassing you then you better warn him that you're calling the police or else report him to the police already.
Good luck!

Email him and let him that his nobody to call your house number if wants to talk to you let him call you on your cell phone. or you can make any deal with him. If he agrees to what you will tell him ........
Go ahead and trap him do something that will make him stop disturbing you. I am sure that will work out.

If he's harrassing you in this manner - report it ot he police - tell them you are in fear and scared!

They will pay him a visit!

If that fails - take out an injuction against him

He either wants to get back together or he is taking the piss. Either way, get your dad to answer the phone in future!

Tell your family to tell him when he calls to leave you alone and if you are contacted by him tell him he needs to leave you alone because you have moved on..
