i loved someone and the deception made me forget the meaning of feelings .... i dont feel anything

Yes we all need love - but that love doesnt have to come from an intimate relationship with a partner.
The most important thing is that cheesy line of 'you have to love yourself' - be comfortable with who you are and try to love you and your life.
Friends and family can offer you love. And past hurt from relationships does heal over time. Be nice to yourself hon! Dont let 1 idiot ruin your outlook on love and relationships. There are other people out there who are nice like you, and would never hurt or deceive you :)

well yes and no!see when adesseption like this happens ther is only a few things left to do!1 would be to feel sorry for self and not want to get over the present dissapoint ment wich could lead to adeep case of depression wich could end in suisidal thoughts or even suiside point blank.2 would be the same senerio but with out dying instead living a long sad and dissapointing unhappy life because of not letting go and moving on with what god has in store for us .......Or 3 we can grieve go trough the motions ,wich is only normal and acceptableok? and then again loving thy self more than the dependancy for the other individual wich sooner or latter will end up in full healling of the heart.Of cource with gods guidance and prottection always in mind!do I make any sence?

Yes, we do need to be loved because we need to be accepted, to have an emotional "home" to turn to, because we humans are by nature communicative, because the good in us enforces it upon us to love. Ask yourself this. Would you love your child? If you are capable of love on one level, then you need it and are capable on all levels. Don't fear the need, although it's logical to do so. Your heart has shutdown it's emotional functions by response to a survival mechanism that has kicked in. Give it time and overcome your fears. I say strive each day to be a better man / woman and be in touch with yourself. Shutting down will deprive you of self knowledge and that is bad.

the only love we really need is from ourselves.. I think everyone in the world should try that first.. I think there would be allot less of broken relationships if everyone learned that real love only comes from within ones self to love ones self and not to others...

We probably don't need to be loved but that dose'nt mean that we don't want to be loved. I think that alot of People are more in love with the idea of being in love than actually the feeling or act itself. I think that I'm in love with the idea of being in love. XXX

you will one day. I takes a while sometimes. Until then, enjoy finding your own independance. No, I don't believe we NEED it, I don't. But it is nice when it happens. It will happen to you for real, I'm sure.
