The more intimate two persons are, the less polite they are to each other, right? For instance, I can be polite to a colleague all the time, but it is hard for me to be polite to my parents and brother all the time, right? So, is politeness an effective way to establish real/loving relations among people? We believe so, b/c they taught us so when we were too young to make our own judgement. Are we foolish people capable of nothing but accepting the status quo? In heaven, are people polite to each other, or they simply show their real feelings and thoughts? Remenber, in this world, when we were little kids, our hearts were a open book. Back then, did we have the concept of politeness in our mind? Is the mankind on the right track?

Dear one, you posed a very sensitive question, but to me, most
people wish to be liked and respected. we are usually polite to strangers because we want them to think of us well and we actually behaving well because of ourselves not because of them, we want them to pay high attention to us and like to be considered great. but why we are not to our close friends and family because they know us very well , better than ourselves. but
remember this is the quality of cheap and mean people but the great never do this and they act according to their belief and never care for others what they think of them, the only important thing is their belief and committing the duty well, because these group of people believe that being polite is our duty to all not only some

No, little kids need manners. Otherwise, none of the little kids will like to be their friend.

When someone is a stranger, any large sudden unmannerly movements could be animalistically perceived as a threat. If a stranger approaches you without manners, you will think he's mentally ill.

Believe me there are a lot of Americans (I am one) who are impolite in sections (not everywhere) and they are threatening to be with.

From a Christian perspective. We love because God first loves us. We love as God has loved us. God has put His love in us to love others. In other words Christians are empowered by God's love to love others as He has love us. It is easy to love, including being polite, in God's way. If you have God's love in you you will feel uneasy and unpleasant to be rude to others. It is not a matter so much of the head but more of the heart.

my close friends and family members receive nothing but politeness from me. they have never wronged me so i have no reason to be rude to them. all they do is show kindness and love. regardless, even if someone is rude to me i respond to them with a smile and a loving thought. what would Jesus do? you see, all man kind needs is Jesus! :)

God bless
