Right well...
Me and this girl get along really well.
She said that she likes me and i told her that i like her.
We arranged to meet with my friends (who are also her friends, thats how we met).
I rang her about meeting up and she said that she cant go because her mum has had to go see her grandad in hospital and she cant leave this house.
I dont know if this is just an excuse or not.
Does she reallly mean it when she says that she likes me aswell?

Yes, she probably means it. She is most likely telling the truth. Because if she does something she isn't supposed to, she wont be able to see you.

On the other hand....
She could say she really likes you but means it as a friend. Or she might just have said it so not to hurt your feelings.
It sounds exactly like the sort of excuse I would have made when I was about 15....
Don't push her. If she really likes you as a friend, then it would be a shame to ruin this by trying to turn it into something else. If she wants more than just friendship, she will let you know probably sooner rather than later. Perhaps she just enjoys flirting but doesn't want a boyfriend? And that does not mean she is treating you badly! At least she likes you enough to spend time with you having fun. Everyone needs to practice the subtle art of flirting as they are growing up.

She might be telling the truthIts a possiblity it could be an excuse but to make sure she is ask her to meet up again if she does it again it might be she is scared of getting hurt. Girls are sometimes parniod like that they want to feel like you are really into them. So phone her up tell her how you feel about her and ask her if she feels the same way.. If she does they thats good but if she doesnt answer you then she is playing the hard to get card if this is the case buy her chocolates and flowers and send them to her, If that doesnt work she is not worth bothering about

Yes, she does. This either was not an excuse (only evil people would involve ill grandads in an excuse), or it was, and she is playing hard to get. Phone her tonight, because girls LOVE being chased!!! Ask her if she wants to go out tomorrow, but don't put all your evidence on this one little thing, you need at least three reasons to back yourself up if you think a girl isn't interested..........Because most of the time, she is playing hard to get!!

There may be rules she may have to follow at home, so just ask her out for another time. If she makes another excuse then she may like you as a friend and not as a date.

why don't you turn up on her doorstep with a takeaway and some flowers. If she cannot make it out then maybe you should make an effort to go to her if she means that much to you.

just because she couldn't make it doesn't mean she is blowing you off, if she said she likes you its for a reason, just give her time and talk to her. good luck, xxx
