I am believer of super natural power and its design so called destiny. If your destiny is designed by the god so as for you to become a nun, I cannot say anything. But I will advice if you want to be religious. You can live your life religiously without becoming a nun.
My definition of religion is adherence to codified beliefs and customary practices involving with faith. If you are my child the advice is
1. to lead a religious life you don't become a nun.
2. Just live your life with full of faith in what you believe(may be god or one particular religion).
3. Try to know yourself and who you were born to be through self awareness.
4. Do your duty as serving to god
5. Love nature and love all and try to help all with out any expectations
6. Under any circumstances do not loose your hope on what you believe and your confidence.
I think I am making sense.
I would suggest you to read Swami Vivekanda's biography, who led a successful religious life with lot of values.

different then the reality that i'm a 16 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous guy who's bi, i'm on your properly position. My kinfolk is likewise a homophobic/non secular one. I actually have determined for the instantaneous to keep this a secret from them. besides the undeniable fact that, your mom and father will possibly no longer disown you in case you tell them the reality. mom and father are lower than the faulty idea that a newborn is an extension of them self so that they might take it slightly harshly and trust that one way or the different you're a discrase to them. yet, do not difficulty, they are your mom and father and they love you very a lot, they are going to easily want time to regulate to who you're. basically keep in suggestions, no count number how a lot your mom and father look indignant or disillusioned they nonetheless love you. in case you've faith that what i have suggested above is actual, then tell them, yet be comfortable and do not tiptoe around the problem. solid success

Compare what the Bible says with what your religion teaches.
A close family member wanted to be a nun, because she wanted to serve God.. Her whole family were Catholics.
But when it was pointed out that preaching was required as the ' works' that must be done in conjunction with 'faith', [Matthew 28; 19,20] and that this privilege was restricted to Catholic Priests, who did not do much at all, but kept up the church's numbers with infant baptism, and kept the parishioners in line with threats of eternal torture in a fiery 'hell'....She opted out and learnt what the Bible really teaches...from the local
Kingdom
Hallof Jehovah's Witnesses. She is now happily preaching to people from door to door with the TRUTH.

I don't think it would affect me anymore than "Mom, I wanna be an astronaut," or "Mom, I wanna be a teacher."

If it makes her happy, why would it bother me?
