None, really, in terms of health. Flavor - lots.

Iodized salt is an easy way to make sure people get Iodine, but you probably get enough of that through all places anyway. Judge them more on flavor - for certain flavorings you'll prefer sea salt.

You need iodine to prevent disease.
I think it's a goiter or something.
I forget, but I know you will get a specific disease without iodine in your diet.

No advantages as such.

You need iodine to avoid Goiter and hypothyroidism, I think.
