I bet Brendan is perfect and has no skeletons in his closet. He must be so good that he has earned his way to heaven. The verse in the Bible that says "All has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" does not apply to Brendan.
The truth is that 40% of men in America has a sexual addiction of some sorts. In fact, I am willing to bet Brendan has at least once viewed porn on the net. So what sin is worse? Fornication, Lust, Homosexual cravings? I say let Rev Haggard get his forgiveness like every other human and get help. I am not excusing his behavior, but even pastors fall sometime. Now if it became a habit, then I guess we would really have to wonder.
And oh by the way, I don't remember this much hooplah when Rev Jesse Jackson had a mistress who had his illegitimate child. Or how about Rev Sharpton who made up false allegations about a black girl being raped. How about all of the liberal mainline churches now ordaining gays.
How about we do a little less condeming and a little more praying for those winning millions of souls to Christ.
