Kenneth: No bible verses because I want the answerer to say things in THEIR OWN words. Obviously some people cannot understand this.

If I believed there wasnt a God. I probably wouldn't believe in the law of Karma. Id have a field day pleasing myself even if that meant lying, cheating e.t.c.

I am an athiest and follow this code more closely than the people of the religion that I left behind. In part this was why I left it behind.
But even the bible says there is a time and a place for everything.
Qucik your in germany in the 40's you have nazi's at the door and jews in the basement...what do you say?
Quick your child needs food and you've no money and no one will feed your baby...what do you do?
What I am trying to say is that morality is subjective to the time place culture and situation you find yourself in.
I follow my ethics because I believe it is good to be good to those around me. Not because some mythical being told me too.
But if circumsatnce dictated others needs then I am willing to be flexible. Does that mean I am condemned simply because I was tryin to do the right thing at the right time? Well then so be it.

If the absence of a deity ability one loses all morals and ethics, then which ability atheists are evil, terrible human beings. yet that's no longer the case. all and sundry is raised with ethics and morals instilled in them in holding with their subculture and, in additional than a number of situations, faith. There are nevertheless rules and morals that individuals follow that are both no longer depending in non secular ideas, or are loosely appropriate to them. We also all have consciences, that could avert such issues from happening. also, sorting out that there is no God does no longer easily erase the code of habit that non secular human beings are used to residing by technique of. So, no, it does no longer be elementary to lie, cheat, scouse borrow etc.

without God,
1. there's really no such thing as love
2. we're all gonna die so do whatever you want
3. we're all just animals!!!

idk man...He's my reason for living
I love Him so much I couldn't lie or steal.. .
i know this is impossible....but if Jesus weren't real, then I would've already been moved so much by at least his teachings taht i wouldn't act that way....but if i were a nonbeliever w/ nothing else, i would do whatever i want most likely cause apart from God i tend to be a jerk
but w/ him ,
i'm pretty sweet
not to sound cocky or anything :-p
lol
God bless ya

Why are you avoiding the Bible? Is it because it carries the truth which cuts deeper than a knife? Your question has actually never occured my mind, but otherwise not. I have better things to do with my time than cheat and steal from people.

we have the bible as our basis to prove that there is God and you have no authority or power to prohibit us from believing the truth. do not mind our belief as we are not minding your belief. Yours is yours, ours ;is ours nothing to lost. B ut your way of doing such things against God will create a b ig problem on your part. as if you want us to engage trouble ;with you. you idiot guy. Stop uttering contradictions to our belief

no bible verses? i wonder why...

anyways, to answer your question, i think it would be easier to do such things because the Holy Spirit would not be there to remind me of my wrong doings. every person will think of their own life and their own profit before another. maybe not on all things but there are times in life that a person will feel that they are more important than another. and for this selfishness, we would lie, cheat, steal, etc to please ourself.

no savior

Azekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
