*The 'doctor' above is right. Make sure you're not taking a ACE inhibitor like captopril, lisinopril etc
**There are always other causes of dry cough such as GERD (heart burn), post nasal drip (common cold, sunusitis), also asthma can cause dry cough.
***Cardiac problems are usually 'wet cough' or 'productive cough'.
****The issue here is to treat the underlying cause of your cough so, make sure you see your physician. All the best!

You probably should address this to your cardiologist. A dry cough that doesn't respond to ordinary treatments can sometimes indicate other problems with the heart. One of the symptoms of cardiac myopathy is a dry hacking cough, particularly worse when lying down and in the evenings. I don't want to be an alarmist, but given your previous medical history, it would definitely be in your best interest to see your cardiologist for a thorough evaluation.

1. Take Rudved ayurvedic capsule for the heart. Angioplasty is not the permanent solution. It does not give guarantee that the blockage will not occur again.
2. The patient needs proper lubrication i the throat. Use dry zinger powder, jaggrey and a spoon of ghee, kneed them properly, make small balls and keep in the mouth.Swallow slowely. It will clear the coughing.
