I hope so. My kitty keeps us awake a lot a night. She sleeps (or should I say plays with us) at night. She runs up at bites my face. She goes tap tap tap on the covers. She bites my husbands chin...but when she cuddles and purrs she makes it all worth while.

Cats should be sleeping on average 16 hours a day and washing 5 hours! Only 2 hours to play! Not long ey?

Cats mature really quick but age slowly..
They kind of maintain themselves for close to a decade before you see real signs of aging. After that, they are less energetic and they tend to sleep more. My cat was indeed sleeping more and by the time he was 16, he was asleep almost the entire day. He only got up to eat and use the litterbox.. They definitely do sleep more..

yeah they do tend to. a cat can sleep for up to 22 hours a day usually in cat naps! ranging from 15 secs to 20 mins ususlly waking up only to turn over. it's very normal for a cat to sleep a lot

Mine does. I have a sixteen year old Tabby and he went from sleeping 18 hours a day when he was young to 22 hours a day now. He no longer bathes either. I wash him with a damp cloth. He no longer covers his litter, I have to do that too. He will still swat a ribbon. Other than that he eats, sleeps and poops.

yes they do I have a 12 year old male cat and he sleeps a lot and hardly ever plays.

Average cats tend to sleep up to as much as 18hrs a day. They do tend to kip more when they get older.

Cats are alot like humans actually. I love cats because they always seem to know what your thinking. My cat, was old, and she slept alot, but when she was young she put pull down curtains, and allsorts! my cat was a gorgeous lilac-grey siamese, and she will stay in my heart forever.
