Actually, that sounds pretty much the same as mail order brides, especially as I'm sure most of them pay somebody off at some part of the process.

(a) I am pretty sure it is illegal to facilitate immigration based on a mal fide marriage. The INS would look long and hard at an application by Asif (23 years old; male; Lahore, Pakistani) who married Mavis (29 years old; female; Gary, Indiana) after they met each other via Yahoo Messenger.

(b) If the foreigner is wealthy enough they can immigrate to the US or another Western country legally

(c) Not every foreigner is desperate enough to want to come to the US

(d) And even fewer are desperate enough to want to marry an American

The marriage part I think is what makes it legal. How are you going to get all these people documented, housed, fed, clean, tested for disease, from over populating the U.S. I mean no one ever thinks about this stuff. And that's very similar to the slave trade. What ignorance.

as long as it doesn't count as smuggling and they become citizens, I wish you the best of luck... espically with customs.
