I know this sounds weird but someone once suggested it! Would it be in the right place?! What did you get done?! Thanks!

I have a tattoo-covered scar across my abdomen. It's not an extremely deep scar and it's hard to notice it unless I point it out.

That being said, a navel piercing scar is NOT shallow and rather deep. I have a navel piercing scar as well and I would rather it just stay there. Anything I would tattoo over it would just add to the attempt of covering the scar. Best thing to do, if you want to distract from the scar, is to find another place for a tattoo that is NOT on top of your navel. Just find an area either north or south of the piercing spot, give it at least three inches distance, and hope that the tattoo is beutiful enough to distract from the scar.

I had a tattoo to cover a scar (not on my belly button) and it looks very good - if you decide to get one, make sure that a) your scar is properly healed and b) that the tattoo is not too big, as it will stretch in time.

i have not, but i do imagine that if it is just a scar from a belly piercing, that it is not that big.
i have a scar form my naval piercing, and i think it would be pretty pointless to cover a scar that tiny with a tattoo.

I have the same scar. It's not so noticeable that you should cover it. Also if you plan to have kids it'll stretch. I have a playboy bunny on my hip and the ears are kinda on my stomach. They're stretched out and it needs to be fixed. I don't recommend getting one on your stomach.

My ex wife had really bad stretch marks left over from a teenage pregnancy. She had the marks tattooed like rose vines and had little red roses and green leaves between them. It was hot.

why would you do that? the scar would still be visible if you got close enough to see it and it would definitely draw more attention to the area than JUST a scar. i wouldn't do it. also, one day when you have children, it will stretch out and is likely to look awful.

Not on your belly button as you'd have a scar for life.
decide where you want a tattoo & seriously think about it first coz you'll have it life & you don't want to go a scar your body with tattoo.s.

get a stick on one.
