Shes ridiculous. She is old and annoying. She lives with my dad, brother and i and i cannot stand her. She thinks she runs this place, but the only reason why she is here is because she went broke and my dad wants to help her out. All i want is for her to get the hell out of here and i am trying to show my dad that she is doing nothing but create problems, but he doesnt see this. All she does is nag about how my dad runs his life and makes things up to tell her daughter (my aunt.) My aunt then tells my gram to write down what she needs and wants. My dad does the best he can, but he i dont feel like putting up with her b.s. and neither does my brother. I constantly find myself and brother fighting with her. All i want is my dad to get rid of her already...any ideas on how to plot this out?!

You want her out because she is old,stupid,annoying & ridiculous,you have plenty of reasons,i'll grant you that .Have you tried asking her what she thinks of you,or does she not have a right to her opinion since she's living with your dad,Try telling her how you feel & see what alternatives can be worked out,with a bit of give & take & practical suggestions,something is bound to work out,but don't spoil your looks by frowning,try smiling.instead.

I know it's hard. Try to keep in mind, if it wasn't for your grandmother - one of your parents wouldn't be around. Why did she go broke? When she nags - just let her go on until her steam runs out. But don't say anything back. Maybe she'll stop doing it if nobody reacts to it. Does your father have any other siblings that can help with her? God Bless and I know it'll all work out.

Wow, family, they are just that family. You don't get to choose them and you are told that you have to like them. I know it is hard and a manipulating old busy body can be a royal pain, so until you are able to move out, trying to prove anything to your father will be fruitless, just know that all thing come out in the end and until you father sees what is going on, to him there is nothing going on. Just try to stay out of her way and don't give her any fuel for the fire, I know it is easier to say, but just be patient.

you dont need to get her out you need to get out the old people are why we are here today and we can learn a lot from them maybe you need to sit down with her and have a heart to heart talk instead of fighting all the time you dont know what she has been through just like she dont know what you have been through talking is the only way out and it will be hard but you can do it

it seems like there are too many people and not enough boundries in your home. certain guideline of respect need to be set in order for you to be comfortable in your house. your dad should know how feels and share this with your grandma, if she is doing nothing more than causing your famliy stress then its best she leaves, but until then avoid her comments most people pick on those who immulate the faults within themselves. dont let her get the best of you.

It's not your call. Your father is in charge...was before you were born and will remain the head of his home even after you move out.
