why do every time only boys have to propose girls .why not other ways?

That used to be tradition, but now it can go either way. Generally it is still the male that proposes but it is perfectly acceptable for a female to propose now a days. In the old days it was the male that had to ask the female's father for her hand in marriage because the family of the female had to "pay" a dowry (sp?) to her husband, for some it was land or livestock or sometimes just plain old money. Now this is very outdated so it doesn't matter who does the proposing.

They also know that they have a gift so precious that if he wants her bad enough he's the one who has got to make the first move. The flower doesn't come to the bee; it's the other way around. If a woman does the proposing, then she makes things too easy. Woman, as a rule, don't just give themselves away easily. Rather they have the inbred desire to know how much of a man he really is and how committed he will be to her. In the same instance, she can feel attractive and alluring enough to him, remaining complimented that he can, and will, proclaim his true feelings and desire toward her.
