why is it so important for people to go out to eat or buy something special for valentines day.That one day is sooo important.Why?I would rather my man treat me like a queen 365 days instead of just 1 day.which he does.Wouldn't you?So why all the hype?

I agree. We just had this conversation at dinner a few days ago. To be perfectly honest , I am shown love and caring every day of the year. I actually would be angry if my hubby came home with a 100 dollar boquet of roses, that will die in 3 days, such a waste of money in my book. My step daughter on the other hand hopes her boyfriend will send her a boquet to work so she can show them off, I told her true love is what you feel in your heart, not showing off a boquet of flowers to your co-workers.

You really want to know don't you. This can be summed up in one sentence. Valentine’s Day, for women, is in part a “who has the best boyfriend” competition. Thats all it is....
And if you think you're getting treated like a queen 365 days, your in for the ride of your life. Which planet did YOU come from? Lol....

Big international corporations such as Hallmark and the chocolate companies. An excuse for them to make huge profits. Media plays a role in this as well with storybook ideas in shows.

in my opinion i think that tha humans are more and more lonely,they feel to lonely in this world, the comunication betwen them is not so profund...so they are afraid ...to not be alone in this world....watc the life:there are more and more gays couples,and many peoples prefer to raise a pet even talk to the pet then have trust another human like them...on the other hand...is not love the world's highest feeling...is not love the primary feeling...of human been...?
