I know you can do it with a bank for £10, but is it the same with a credit card?

yes you can you are able to get the information for the last 6 years. It should cost no more than £10 for the lot. Some banks etc do not charge if you request the statements and enclose £10 some will return the £10. If you are requesting them to claim back unfair bank/credit card charges you could use the standard letters on www.moneysavingexpert.com and it's well worth a read too but don't be fooled by your bank or credit card company into believing you have to pay £5 for each statement this is unlawful. the maximum you should have to pay is £10. All financial records have to be kept for 6 years and you are entitled to see these
