I like Worcestershire sauce on anything, but if you grill or caramelise some onions and put that on top it's wonderful. Just takes a moment

Worcester sauce, HP brown sauce, Paprika, Chilly powder, even a bit of Curry powder, or you could grate the cheese, mix in an egg till it has all blended in the spread that on your toast, it give a very fluffy and light texture, much the same as Welsh Rarebit

Red Onion mixed in with Worcestershire sauce on top. Sometimes its good to take raw garlic cut it rub the cut end all over the toast with a little olive oil then add the cheese.
for a more pungent version of the sauce use anchovies direct or anchovies paste

Yeah, worcestershire sauce is made for cheese on toast!!
Also, spread a little tomato puree on the bread with a sprinkle of mixed herbs then the cheese on top - makes a wicked pizza!
