I have this blog of mine which i update almost daily, the problem is i feel this necessity for my firends to read my blog and comment on it, i feel so left out when some of my friends dont read it or i dont see a comment on my blog...
So i was thinking i now a days feel pathetic that i beg my freinds to read my blog and actually thak them when they comment on it??
Is this a feeling of insecurity that i feel ?
I am so confused, i would like some people to comment on my blog and read it like very now and then...

the less you concern yourself with other peoples opinions the more interesting people will find you ..it's a bit of a catch 22 but it does work this way...give it a go, become more self involved and people will start asking what you've been up to.

Perhaps you should take a new approach, write for yourself and be true to yourself and don't worry what anyone thinks about it. Your blog is only one expression of your personality, not the sole expression of who you are. Interact with your friends on a more personal level in verbal dialog versus the safer cyber virtual dialog. That way you get instant gratification from the ideas you are blogging about versus fretting if anyone will actually know what you are expressing there. Good luck.

I personally do not read blogs, they are long and sometimes, although the writer thinks they are good , they are boring and redundant. Why would you beg your friends to read it? If they are your friends they should already know the important things about you. Next time you want a friend to know something about you invite them over , go out to lunch, if they are true friends they will come instead of hide behind a computer.

Sadly yes. You even posted your "blog" link in hopes that even people reading this will read your blog. Sadly you are mistaken. The two words that come to my mind is "ATTENTION WHORE". It blasts radiance of insecurity like a glaring white neon lights from an alien spaceship from above. Its okay to post a blog. But you should think something along the lines of "if they read it, thats cool. if they don't cool. Those are my thoughts. Feel free to comment. Peace"
