Well, first of all, you can take all that money that some of us lucky guys have to spend on our girls, and you can go to the bank and invest in a couple of bonds that will increase in value. Another way that you can celebrate is go on a shopping spree with other singles of the same gender and make fun of the couples walking around. Another fun thing that might be somewhat funny to do, is walk into a Jewelry store in a mall, and say to a couple looking at a necklace or something, "Hey, you know that other jewelry store down the hall had the same thing for half the price!" Watch what they do then...lol...that sounds almost tempting to try myself!
Enjoy not HAVING to spend it with someone. V-day often turns more into a obligation than an opportunity.
Yeah, it might sound sad that you don't have anyone now, but there will come a day that you might just with that you didn't have anyone then! Enjoy it!

Do you know the valentines history? No, O.k. I let you know about this great day. Once a boy was far away from his parents and he loves with his mom a lot. After a long time he came back and decided that he will give a flower to his mom and he did on 14th Feb.
So that was the true love.
You can also give flower to your mom or any loving relation person. And enjoy the great valentines day.
Good luck.

It's 24hrs, the same couples that were together yesterday are together today and more than likely still will be tomorrow... and you've somehow managed to cope with that, just treat today as any other...It's not a big deal believe me.
Oh and I just wanted to add that Valentines Day is not just for couples; it;s a day for you to express your love and show you care to another- and that person can be just about anybody i.e. Mum, Sister, Friend etc..Enjoy the rest of your day..(",)

We have been married 20 yrs and we know how much we love each other. I don't need or want a gift that society has deemed necessary to show our love. It's just a load of crap that puts pressure on new couples and makes singles feel lonely. If you were happy yesterday then be happy today. Let the flower shops make their money and you go about like any other day. Have a nice Wednesday!

I think that you shouldn't wory too much about Valentines day if you are single. It really is such a ridiculously commercialized day anyway. You may not have anyone to celebrate with now but that may not always be the case. However if it makes you feel better spoil yourself a little with your favourite meal or a nice big bar of chocolate and your favourite movie.

Give yourself a treat with your best buddy or your loved ones... take your mum or dad out for a date... why not? they are also your loved ones... the whole idea is to spend/share your day with your loved ones. Spend it wisely and look forward for another Valentine eagerly next year. Happy Valentine!!!

Well hun...
I'm single, 23 and this is how I'm spending it:
I'm at work until 4:30 today as I'm getting away early as I'm on evening maths course on a Wed night, then going to get away earlier to be home by 8:00 to watch the Brit Awards as it's on tonight live and I can sit watching it with a glass of wine swooning over Russel Brand and maybe answer afew Q's on her and build some points up and maybe look on shoes.com because shoes make me happy!!
....See - who needs to be in a couple when we can take the little things like that and get pleasure out of it!? (no puns intended there!)
Just think of all the couples out there that will be arguing because something hasn't gone right for them on this night and that should keep you going!
:-)
xx

Valentine's Day is all a big commercial con anyway, designed to get as much money out of people as possible.
Treat it like any other day or if you must, treat yourself to something nice. A film, lunch somewhere nice, pair of shoes etc.

Celebrating your freedom! relationships come with great responsibility, compromise and hard work. enjoy life as you know it right now as one valentines day you will have a partner to share it with and you'll enjoy it when it comes.
Order yourself a take out, splash out on a new outfit or get in your favourite drink and relax, with a husband, two toddlers and a baby on the way that sounds like heaven to me!
Enjoy your life you never know whats around the corner.

You can spend it with your friends (who's not taken) or spend it with your famz or yourself... or just spend it like any other day...
Me, myself don't have any plan with my bf.. i feel so bored with all valentine things... ^_^
Don't be that 'sad' cheer up... not celebratin' Valentines Day with a couple doesn't mean you can't spend Valentines Day at all...
