I've always been so against drinking to solve your problems. But lately i've been drinking when im upset or depressed about my ocd. And the bad thing is the alcohol makes me even more depressed after it wears off abit. It takes my mind off things for awhile but doesn't last.

I know this is not a solution and its not sumthing i do frequently. I told a friend who knows about my ocd and she told me to stop..plain and simple just stop. It sounds easy but when i get in a certain mood im not really thinking about wat will happen later..just taking the pain away is my only concern. Anyone else been in this situation or have any advice?

were you diagnosed with ocd by a professional or did you do a self-diagnosis?

if it was the former, talk to your therapist about this. if it was the latter, go see a professional.

If that's the way you're dealing with it, you're not taking the pain away, you're covering it up. Sack-up for fricks sake and quit your whining. Life's too short for all that crying crap.
