Of course it is!
Think about it - if a guy in a straight relationship got with another guy, he'd be cheating on his girlfriend, right?
The same goes for a girl - if she has a boyfriend and she gets with another girl, she's cheating on him.
If you're in a relationship, you're not supposed to have sex with anybody else other than that person! It doesn't matter if that other person is male or female, it's still cheating!!!

Simple: If you do something that violates the trust of the person you're in a relationship than it's cheating. It may or not have anything to do with sex.

If you give to someone else what you should only give to a person that you're in a relationship with, I would consider that cheating--no matter what sex the other party involved is.

depends..... if it's not serious and it was only a one night thing then no, see it as adventure and experience. if it goes beyond one night and you still have a boyfriend then yes..... then you simply want best of both worlds and sadly cheating.

if you are in ANY type of relationship and you meet someone else...then yes, it's cheating...don't go there, it breaks hearts....
