Sweetie they would never whip out their Bibles to turn to the passage to read it, they are too busy going through the Old Testament.
Quote scripture at an Atheist, and you'll see their ears shut and their eyes roll back into their heads.

Dude, you are setting yourself up for major mockery with this question and detail. Quoting text from the bible to make a point to an Atheist is one reason why certain Atheists taunt you!

Yes you could try, but should you not quote from a Nonfiction source when presenting facts to the public.
Using fiction as reference material insults the intelligence of your desired audience and will have little impact on them other than to confirm once again that Religion is for the Mentally challenged.

The normal,carnal mind,eh?
It seems like all youre doing is mocking other people's beliefs.
I find you very disrespectful.Just because a couple of people seemed to be ''disrespectful'' to your belief [which im not even sure now, seeing how you treat others who dont share you 'godly vision' with the usual foolish blind christian mockery of the genrally pious!] does not mean you should disrespect them back.
What you just did apparently isn't so ''Christian''.

Dear Friend,
We should never use the Scriptures as a weapon of derision. For who's glory are we working?
Consider this teaching from the lords word?
Phillipians 2:14Do everything without complaining or arguing, 15so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe
And Also:
Matthew 5:10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
And Also:
Psalm 103:8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
The bible teaches us to do the same, we should bear good witness to these folk by our behaviour, instead of challenging them outright.
God Bless

Well, you can, but quoting a source to someone who, by definition, doesn't believe in the validity of the source might not be the most effective way to go about it.

There would be no point. You cannot demonstrate facts by using a work of fiction.
