for valentine's day last year my bf surprised me with roses, chocolate and perfume. this year it is skydiving.at first i thought he was kidding but he was not and now i am so nervous because once i am done with my classes for the day- i am a college student and so is he- we are heading out to skydive!i am so scared that it is not funny and i told my bf that i have epilepsy and he knows that except that my doctor is playing with my dose of one medication-he is increasing it gradually- therefore i do not know what will happen with the new increase.i told him all of this yet he knows that i am making a huge deal out of this because of my safety and he takes it as though i am bitching or complaining too much.i do not want to hurt his feelings yet the idea of skydiving scares me since i have never done it and he has and i told him not to go broke on me except that he did not listen!i know that this is the Valentine's to remember and wow..out of all the things he had to pick this! ne comment

it's a wonderful exsperiance. but i know how you feel having the same issues. stress can cause an epasode and you dont want that in the middle of flying in the air. explane to him that it's a matter of life and death not that you are scared cus you never gone but you are scared cus of what might happen to you. if you where to have a sezer in the middke of you jumping there will be no one to pull the cord. but you can also jump with an instructer that will pull the cord with you and if you where to have one know what to do. go and see what it has to offer if anything you went and saw him do it. but you never know if this will come again.

wow, that gives my butterflies in my tummy just hearing your question.....I wrote a question about skydiving earlier last week, I still wouldn't do it even after the answers I got. It gives me the creeps falling out of something. I have fear of heights and of falling, it is so not funny. My husband wants to take me rafting and I have issues with that, also.....I think I'm just too safe.

I guess if you are comfortable doing this then it's ok, I wouldn't, but he sounds like a great guy that you can trust him.....I still would be shaking with fear so much, I couldn't do it. Good luck and let us know what happened, ie, either you went or didn't go?

What a great surprise.. Something to scare the living p*ss out of you, that could bring on your epilepsy and maybe kill you...

Think your bf is subtly trying to dump you???

Hey on a happier note, did you know that 1 out of 1214 people die when they sky dive? Cheers mate'!
