When is automatically turn off after turn on using remote this means that your stand by circuit is find. It can supply power to your mi-con, and your mi-con is also find because it can receive signal from remote.

Next you need to check primary power than protection circuit which one just active.

If this is flat LCD TV big chance the inverter short circuit and need to replace inverter board.

But I must warn you repairing is not easy and danger please call expert tech to help you.

Replace the chassis and all internall fittings then replace the cabinet, that should just about fix it !! To be serious even I YES I !!!!!!!!! with 45 years in TV repair could not answer your question so the other novices stand Buckleys !! Cheers Pete !!!

Your description is sooooo vague that it requires an Authorized Service Center to properly diagnose this problem.....

There is no way that even I....a qualified TV technician, can tell you what is failing....YOUR VAGUENESS SUCKS!!
