I don't think he's muslim. Being muslim myself........it has some ups and downs. Probably less terror attacks.....but if a muslim made it to presidency in america......he probably wouldn't bomb israel or make any major changes to american policy. Its politics afterall. This would then piss off the fundies even more and then we might even have more terror attacks.

Also america isn't ready as a whole to have a non white / christian president. Better chances of assasination and what not.

It really depends on how his views are. Muslims differ in views on Y!A so I would imagine it would be the same way throughout the world.

If the Muslim continued to support separation of church and state, as well as had a good plan of how to run America I would.

I have voted for Christians in the past that realize that our Country is not dependent on religion. I do not see how this would differ for a Muslim.

to answer your question, no, no and still NO!!!! I would never vote for Obama, not even as dog catcher. The far left praise him because he is a Socialist, but they really don't even know how he will perform as a politician. Notice how I didn't say statesman. The last statesman the Dem party had was Zel Miller. He left and retired after being fed up with the Dem. party becoming a cesspool of the far left and their ilk.
I wonder how many thumbs down hits I will get. :-)

Why sure ... Religious beliefs have nothing to do with how the country is run. I wouldn't accept someone JUST because they were a Muslim, I'd have to hear their plan for the country, but being a Muslim wouldn't be a "deal breaker".

I have many other issues with Obama than any religious views that he may have. Also, see the last phrase of Article VI of the Constitution of the United States.

Absolutly not. It's not just personally that I wouldn't, it America in general. Not only will the American people have an issue with his religion, there's also other reason such as he's not that great of a speaker. And he doesn't really have knowledgable information as he is advertising to the people. He simply try's to make himself sound smart, when really, he has no idea what he's talking about.

No that person just might be fond of that command to 'kill all infidels'. But then that would help the over-population problem and help usher in the Mahdi. Of course they could count on the politically correct for some back-up.

Fundie Xian here.

Like My Preshus up there said, being a Muslim isn't a deal-breaker for me. I won't vote for Obama for MANY, MANY other reasons.
