Okay, is this a question, or an opinion?
I call myself a Christian because it's my goal to be Christ-like. Sometimes I fail, but that's human.
To me, Christianity isn't "just" a religion. It isn't "just" a set of beliefs. It's my lifestyle, and the personal relationship I try to have with God. I try to pray without ceasing, as the Bible says I'm supposed to.
Forget religion? Sure. Religion is just a set of beliefs. The life I attempt to lead is more than that.

Christian by definition means followere of Christ. so anyone who follows the teachings and example led by Jesus Christ is a christain. Religion is the practice and the doctrines that one adopts in expressing their f belief in God and Jesus Christ, and the way the worship Him. So even those who do not follow a particular religion but belive in God can be said to have their own religion because in essence, they have their own way of expressing their belief in God and their own way of worshipping God.Bottomline is all religions surround God or a god.that's they're basis

The word "Christian" was originally a derogatory slur that was coined by Romans. It literally means "little Christs," or "followers of Christ."

I am a follower of Christ, so hence, I call myself a Christian.

I am Jesus's friend. (John 15:14)
I am not his servant (John 15:15)
He chose me, not me him. (John 15:16)
I think this makes me a Christian.
