I've never had any faith in them so nothing to lose. They are all crooks and can't be expected to do things honestly.

Yes. ofcourse it is very much possible for the people to lose faith in d policen in d judiciary.Rather we can say that the people have already started losing faith in the police.
It is natural 4 d people bcause when any case come up only files are been made but is done.
Our police inforce has so corrupt that nothing can be done.
Police is easyli infulenced if MONEY is show to them or rather when they r been bribed. It has become so bad that the people are ready 2 bear the pain but dont want to get into any kind of case because they knw its just dat nothing is going to happen they wil just keep telling you that yaa we are finding out and all but where they actually sitting and doing nothing. So in short where the police is only corrupt what can the people do to help their own COUNTRY.

Single or few fishes should be able to spoil the whole waters. The very purpose of police is good enough to reflect its an overall good image. The apparent bad smell and ill orientation is mainly due to ill framed social system in which everybody seeks proud in promoting both good and ill conceived intrests of their respective caste affiliations. Many Munshees (head constables) and even dirogas donot even know the meaning of abbreviations used for their organisations. But they occupy their places becouse of the great push from their background and pull from favourable super caps(not COPS) from above. The concept of super cops seems to have virtually lost its worth in many cases when one find that a simple constable in pre independance era used to be more effective than many a superor cops today. The hidden wolf like faces have become bold enough to exhibit their real castiest devil inclinations, and one know it very well that each such face does not help even his own caste people for the solution of genuine complaints in many cases but seek full justification, commendation and support of his respective caste lobby for all his evil acts commited against other castes. The woman belonging to other castes especially poor one, is assumed to be corrupt and investigation is accordingly manipulated to protect the culprits. There are number of instances when the helpless woman is labelled as characterless just for having a weaker background, widowhood or etc. etc. and her complaint is rejected even from DM's and above levels becouse the police impressed and compelled by a big group of influential people treated the complaint of the woman as bogus and they also convinced their seniors that the lady is characterless and hence needs no protection. The accused molested the lady even in police van carrying both but as she was falsely proved as characterless hence there was nobody pay any attention to her complaint. The complainant in this case seems to have either been ultimately killed or kept under captivity by accused who threatened for the same consequence.
What can be expected from such a system where character certficates are being issued by the CHARACTERLESS alone. The ultimate root of all evils is.............???

I don't think anyone has lost faith. Problem is that ever since 9/11 police attitudes as well as duties have changed. They have become driving to suspect everyone. Has nothing much to do with money...but are protecting the powerful because they are apt to be in danger more than others because of their position and vulnerability.

yes now a days people are losing faith in police departments and
invesitigative agencies. because many police work under some
big shots and they are failing to do their duties. there are some people in our country who is scared to contact police station also.
to change this situation we can take the help of some media we can give advertisements that police is their for public and it is their duty to protect us. police should also be counselled the government should give them the moral supprot and let them know that no police has to work under some big shots instead they can serve the public and attain mental satisfaction through
that and the love and respect from the public.
so that people will have faith in police and police also works for their conscious. public should realize that police are also from public and it is our duty to approach them.

Briefly i can say that in general police force may be good but our illiterate and irresponsible politicians changed their face. You imagine the rest of the things.Law abiding citizens can not afford to loose the faith in police.

No one should lose faith in police. The history of police is too long and well established when it comes to protecting the society at large.

There are black sheep in all departments. There are also exception. Still we do have some intelligent and honest officers handling police force and intelligent agencies. On account of these honest officers, we have a good administration .
