There's a guy I like- some friends thought he liked me too. We're not that close though... he lives in my dorm. He's called me untouchable, classy, and said we should party together sometime. We had lunch.
So I made this guy a really creative val. that said "i like you" on the inside. He caught me taping it to his door, and read it while my friend and I were there.
He opened it, stared, and then smiled and said thank you. He then made a joke about how conversation hearts were only good when glued to a card (thats how it was with mine), and talked about glue. He was also pretty drunk, but he gave me and my friend hugs and told me that he would "treasure it always".
Not really the straightforward "I like you too" or "I dont like you like that" I was hoping for, but my guy friend (who was helping me deliver) said that it could be because I had a lot of Valentines that we were delivering, and he's not sure I meant it like that.
Any thoughts? He was drunk, but even so... boys...

He's also only drunk cause he's pledging at a fraternity and as much as it is frowned upon, hazing is a part of life.

Thanks for answering my question.

Yeah, it's hard to tell with this one. But one thing is pretty clear, he likes you at least a little bit. Most of the time when people are drunk, politeness goes out the window. So he wouldn't be able to fake how happy he was to receive the valentine.

The only thing is, was he just happy to get the valentine, or was he happy to get it because it was from you?

I'd lean more towards the second one because he's said before that he'd like to party with you, guys usually don't say that unless we're at least somewhat interested in a girl. So you'll want to follow up on this one. Ask him if he wants to grab a bite and tell you about his fraternity hazing process because you're curious, or just grab a cup of coffee sometime, then go to one of his parties or invite him to one of yours (as long as your taste in parties is similar). See him a little more when he's not drunk and you'll know soon enough.

It's obvious he likes you. However since he was put on the spot (you and your friend were there when he read it), it is only natural that he joked it off (You gotta admit its awkward when your caught reading something that was meant to be a surprise). So give it some time and approach him when he's sobered up and alone, not in front of all your buddies.

wait and ask him a follow up question when its just the two of you.Guys are sometime weird about their feelings especially in front of people even more so in the start of things b/c they don't want to seem vulnerable. And even worse the younger they are.he might have held up apperances for the other guy.Ask and you will receive one way or the other.

Drunk on a Tuesday night? He's trouble. Stay away!

At the very least let him be the one to approach you for any further contact.
