Hamburgers are easy... Just make the chuck into a patty and broil for 5-10 minutes. I marinade the chuck with Kikkoman teriyaki sauce and Lea & Perrins worchestshire before broiling and add seasoned salt and pepper sometimes too.
Spaghetti takes only about 12 minutes depending how long you have to boil the noodles for. While the noodles are boiling I brown ground beef, drain fat, and add to a spaghetti sauce of choice. You can also bake garlic bread at the same time, the frozen ones take under 5-10 minutes.
Tacos about 15 minutes depending on how long you have to simmer the meat in the taco mix. I like Lawry's taco mix packets the best. Brown ground beef, drain fat, put beef in pot, add taco mix and water and simmer. Meanwhile grate cheddar and monterey jack cheese and shred lettuce. Brown a tortilla for a minute or two on a frying pan then add toppings and serve with tabasco sauce.

Get a slow cooker and a cook book specifically for crock pots or slow cookers (they are the same thing). The prep is usually fairly simple and you just turn it on and walk away. There is no watching, no stirring, no fuss. I use one every day to make a hot dinner for my kids. I work afternoon shifts and don't have a microwave, so the best way to make sure they have a hot meal for dinner is to put it in the slow cooker in the morning. It's ready hot and wholesome when they come nome from school (my babysitter can't cook).

any piece of meat with a side of instant potatoes and veggies. i always take a couple pieces of chicken and broil them, or roast a couple of pork chops in au jus gravy mix. also bake in bag seasoning packets at the store are tasty and easy. the instant potatoes have a huge variety now (idahoan are the best and easiest) add a can of veggies heated on the stove and you have a "homecooked" meal.
