All eggs have some degree of cholesterol in the yolk. However this is determined by the type of food eaten by the chicken. Low cholesterol diets low cholesterol eggs. Free range have the lowest amounts of cholesterol in the yolk I an not yolking!

False labelling can get you in a world of trouble, so most labels are indeed accurate.

No whole egg is free from cholesterol, so I assume you are seeing labels on Egg Beaters type problems that are mostly whites.

Some brands feed special diets to chickens to alter nutrients in the eggs they lay, including having reduced cholesterol, and higher levels of beneficial nutrients.

Eggs in moderation are a very good food just as they are. To determine whether a "low cholesterol" product meets your needs, you need to read the nutritional label and compare it to regular eggs.

I don't believe that there is such thing as NO cholesterol from an egg - unless you are talking about taking only the egg white.

How they give us LOW cholesterol eggs? Will there be some "side effect" which still unknown to us?
