Wash your hair with baking soda. Because it's basic, it will open the hair and help the colour come out faster. Was it a bad wash out dye? If it was, this will help tons. I dyed my hair black and it turned green so I washed it five or six times with tons of baking soda and the soap got so dark everytime I washed it. It's also way cheaper.
If you used a permanent colour, depending on how long ago you died it, you can try the baking soda, but unless you died your hair red (just because it fades super fast anyways) it probably wont do a whole lot and you'll just have to suck it up and go to the salon or bleach and re-dye it yourself. But buy a hair mask if you do that because it will damage the hair. The sooner you put the mask on after the damage, the more it can help.

If you recently used the dye then try washing your hair with liquid laundry soap. Then use a deep conditioner. You aren't going to be able to get rid of any color without stripping your hair at least a little. Even dyeing your hair a more natural color is going to stress out your hair.

no... dont just go and get your hair dyed back to its natural color, itll just damage your hair more especially if you were a blonde and went dark. you need a clarifying shampoo. go to the store and look for a shampoo that says clarifying... it wont strip the color but its supposed to help remove build up so that might help. If it helps, once your happy with the color, go back to a regular shampoo cause using a clarifying shampoo for long periods of time isnt good for your hair.
you can go to a salon and have the color stripped but, that damages your hair A LOT.

Believe it or not DIET coke (must be DIET) fades hair dye and so does lemon juice.
Make sure you use a good conditioner afterwards

Pantene Pro V is a good one if you want to fade your colour! Its very "plastic" apparentley.... my sister is a hairdresser and thats what she tolm me to use when i need to fade my colour quickly, plus it still keeps your hair in good condition and makes it smell lovely!

I would say any shampoo you like that doesn't have colour protect and is suitable for frequent use, then wash every day and wash twice each time, I'd say. Good luck with it!

Im not sure sbout damage but I try the cheapest crap you can buy. Or maybe a hair stripper like the netrigenia (whatever):) one. The one to get build up off it might help.
