Hi, may i know how to disable the alert "A new version of windows live messenger is now available, click here for more information"

It keeps popping up whenever i sign in and i do not wish to upgrade to the new version yet.

I think all you can do is go to your buddy list, click "A new version is available, click here for more information", then a window comes up asking if you want to update, and you can click "NO" and then "Don't remind me for one week".

You may also be able to use MSN Messenger Plus (http://www.msgpluslive.net/) to disable that message, too, I haven't used it in a while and I don't know if it carries such a feature.

no. it shoudnt & yeah i hate the hot msn too. if through any probability it does (which i really doubt) then basically unistall & msg me or some thing & i am going to offer u the link to acquire the former one.which grow to be fairly troublesome to discover.desire i helped
