The past week every morning 5 min after I wake I get cramps in the stomach then I have to make a run to the loo for diarrhoea. This goes on till about 10am, I'm just getting over the flu so don't know if that is the problem or that I have a habit of eating junk food in the evening, I.E crisps / chocolate

I woud say it is probably junk food overload although who knows what effect the flu virus couldhave had on you. Invest in a good quality probiotic which should help solve the trots and lay off the junk food. You may well have developed a food sensitivity so if it continues I would have a test.

It is probably the after effects of the flu, but take some pepto bismol or immodium. If it doesn't go away very soon, see a doctor.

Could be flu like symptoms, do you drink beer also with your snacks as that may cause diarrhea, good luck, hope its stops as that can be nasty.
