Well the Qu'ran says it is okay to beat your wife... so if you ever get married you can threaten her to never leave you or you will strike her down.

I understand you are upset... please don't blow anything up!

Edit:
I M Back
Guess what I gave you thumbs up.. .but my friend, you are the ignorant one. Please see the link below

What are you doing? Are you insulting the Qur'an?
It's bad to insult any religious/God's words & writings for that matter. There must be a reason to that.
And for you...don't ask the Qur'an...why don't you ask yourself.

If you want a partner, then go out and look for one.Things won't come rolling to you if you don't work for it!

And what's the big deal with Valentine's Day?You don't need JUST one day in a year to show your love ones that you care and love them.Loving, caring and appreciating others is an everyday thing.Grow up!

And to EffinB....please be more respectful and mind your words!I don't think the Qur'an teaches people bad things, what more beating of wives! Please check around with your Muslim friends what it really means by " beating your wife without bleeding and bruising" before you say anything!!

Keep asking those question and thinking for yourself so you may find your own truth and perhaps a partner as well. Best wishes and happy Valentine's Day to you as well.

Dear Brother in Islam, as a Muslim sister I would like to ask you not to celebrate Valentine's Day as it is a pagan custom which was later adopted by Christians.
May Allah help you to find your partner soon.
Recite Surah Dahr. I think it is in the 29th para - this Surah can be recited to find a marriage partner and for marital happiness.
And Allah knows best.
