I want to do it CREATIVELY.
Do you have any ideas for making it iNteREstiNg and UniQuE, perhaps even funny?

No. Absolutely no way. I am not having that smelly tom cat that roams around the neighbourhood at night, and makes trouble, having a vote that is the same value as mine. He'll only waste it on one of the minor candidates, like the Roaming around the neighbourhood at night and causing trouble party. It's just not on. And, call me equuist, (racist, but in a horsey way) but I am opposed to the idea of horses getting library cards. Imagine what goats would do, if you let them on public transport... You think the seats get torn up now? Gold fish getting Gold(fish) VISA cards... It's all too crazy... And don't even get me started on the pigeons...
Creative? Unique? Funny? Interesting? Basis for a good idea? Stay back or get maced?
Well, I tried. I know it's a bit over the top, but hey, nobody ever helped me with my homework (well, not too much...), so I figured, why not throw some ideas around, see where it goes.
Even if you don't use it, at least I know I tried. And that's better than just being mean.

People use anthropomorphism to justify treating animals on the same level as humans. I blame Disney for this. People always feel sad for the baby animal whose parents are inevitably killed in Disney movies. This creates an aversion in people for treating animals the way nature apparently intended. Animals don't talk, and they may not experience anything of what it is like to be human. But some view animals as "people".
Consider a toy robot who has an apparently sweet disposition. A person would have a hard time "killing" this hunk of metal, microchips, and wires called a "robot" because of anthropomorphism. (Anthropomorphism = Assigning human qualities and traits to non-human animals).

How??? What is an absolute definition of "Animal"? Does that include viruses and bacteria? Why not? They are alive.
And what about plants?
It is odd that the same people (liberals) who want to give Constitutional rights to apes and dolphins have no problem with a human woman tossing her baby into a blender.

Human beings are the most respectable creature of this universe. They cannot be equal to animals and nor can animals be equal to men. Human beings are far more superior. They can kill the animals, make them their food, use them as a mode of trans-post, confine them to the cages only. Think if of the same things: if animals could have done to us.

Well I am going with a no. Some reason are they can't speak so freedom of speech is out. They don't know what the press even is or assembly for that matter. They could care less to vote.

If they did what would we eat? every fast food joint in the country would shut down. If you lived with a pet turtle for 7 years and had to get rid of it, you would have to pay it support. Jackasses would demand to be called Mule-Americans, We would have to pay reparations to Hoot owls for stealing there homes to make books. You would have to have Shark accessable parking at the sushi bar or you would get sued by a land Shark.

No they shouldn't be able to vote hehe. They shouldn't be able to Rome where ever they want pets anyway shouldn't. And if you have to slap them to get them from jumping on the coach or chewing your shoes then I should be able to do it.

try writing it from a perspective of an animal but don't reveal that until the end
