Ok maybe that is mean, but I seem to really attract guys with drug and alcohol problems, guys with serious mental disorders, and creepy old lonely men. And a few ***** who just are looking to hook up. Every once in a while I get a nice normal guy, but mostly not. Seriously why do these guys get so attached to me. Its not just that they hit on me but they get REALLY attached. What do I do? I try not to lead people on, but sometimes I think I'm just being friendly and they take it the wrong way. I don't want to be a *****, but how do I get them to take the hint?

If you are seriously concerned, and want to change this, I would recommend some professional counseling. A trained counselor will be able to help you pinpoint the things in your speech, body language, and character that tend to attract this kind of man, and give you suggestions on ways of changing, and becoming more confident, and exuding the kind of traits that attract healthier companions.

Good Luck! Go for it!

P.S. You are probably a very kind, nice person who doesn't want to hurt any one's feelings. This is cool, but you may need to learn to be a little less attentive and open to people whose attentions you don't want.

well, you must project something out there that good guys are repelled by. Not being mean, just honest. If you appear too needy and get crushes on people easily they may pick up on something that tells them you don't have much confidence, which may be why the "losers" are crowding you.

Just be completely honest with how you present yourself to the world. I don't mean clothes or make-up presentation, I mean you expressions and how you hold your head. Look at the body language that you choose to present. When you're honest, you can adjust and hopefully the right guy will pick up on that! :)

good luck!!!!

lol
May be they feel safe talking to you and you have that personality that attract them. If you are kind & warm, that is a reason for them to like you.
Don't feel bad & as long as you are safe from any pain, just stay the same.

i would say that perhaps you are a bit codependent. there is a book called "codependent no more" you might want to read. there are personality types that wind up with addicted folks and until you resolve why you tend to attract those who are addicted or "creepy" as you say, you will repeat this pattern over and over again.
sounds like you need to learn some assertiveness (how to say no and mean it) as well. good luck!
