General ... The services try to reduce people's individualistic traits and promote a sense of belonging to a team. I'd take the support of any race/ethnic group that's properly trained.

The people I'd NOT want on my side are the cut-and-run types, i.e., Tim Robbins (and his wife), Michael Moore, and that "lovely" Jane Fonda.

Who gives a damn what color their skin is so long as the color of their heart ain't yellow.

Who I want backing me up is someone who is well trained. knows their responsibilities, is professional, and you can count on to be honorable and takes pride in their duty.
I could care less what skin tone they have, or what their ethnic background is.

If you think any of these factors is pertinent to one race more than another then you are just another ignorant racist

I remember a saying from my early days in the service (Navy). "...There is no Black, No White, No Hispanic, Asian, or other.
There is only Navy Blue!..."

as long as they were on my side and a good shot, don't care.

Actually if I had to choose some one in particular it would be my uncle, he is Hispanic, he was a sniper in the Marine force Recon with 33 confirmed kills.

But in a scrape I would prefer an Irishman, Scotsman or a good ol' country boy. I know a lot who would be handy in a fight.

He/she must possess a combination of courage and brains. Therefore, that translates to, ANY nationality or colour, other than American. Appears the Americans can't distinguish ally from foe.

They did an excellent job of covering the backs of the British in both Iraq wars..NOT!

doesn't matter as long as they know what they are doing.
I fought in 'Nam and had whites, blacks and Hispanics covering my back at one time or another. Doesn't matter what color pulls the trigger, the bullet still kills.

I would want Oprah or Trump. They both would spare no expense to achieve success and they both know how to get things done!

This question sounds alittle racial. I say what the hell to your skin color. As long as your honorable and you've got courage you can watch my back. But thats just me.
