Nobody can appreciate Jesus Christ without being a Christian.
Christian does not mean a person in name only, but one who is really following Jesus Christ, even though one may not even call himself a Christian. On the other hand, if one does not follow Jesus Christ, but simply calls him a Christian, he is not actually a Christian.
I appreciate Jesus Christ as one of the faithful sons of God, spreading God Consciousness through his teachings and example.
Jesus Christ said, "Love the sinner, hate the sin",
"Love your neighbour as yourself",
" If someone slaps on one of your cheeks show him the other",
and ultimately Jesus Christ while dying on the cross for no fault of his but only for the sins of others prayed to the Lord,
"Please forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing"

His concern for the society - At that point of time and the place where he was, there was a need to change the life style. There was hatred, brutality and cultural denigration- He advocated love and peace which eventuallly grew into a religion.

i'm a muslim. i appreciated him as the second last prophet, before Muhammad saw, and also by being one of God's most beloved prophets. muslims do not share the same belief as christians have about jesus's crucifixion. he ascended bodily to heaven and will stay there until the end of the earth as one of the biggest sign of coming Justice Day, where he will return to earth and save remaining people of earth and guide them back to the true belief.

I'm not Christian, but I respect Jesus' compassion and kindness for the outcasts of society: e.g. prostitutes, lepers, the poor.

If he existed, his ethics were certainly ahead of their time. He was a true visionary and much of what he taught should be taken to heart today, regardless whether he's "divine".

Absolutely nothing. He directly assaulted the Jewish culture, converted many of our followers, and those followers later killed and persecuted is for 1700 years. What on Earth would I possibly have to appreciate about Jesus?
