One day in heaven, the Lord decided he would visit the earth and take a stroll.

Walking down the road, the Lord encountered a man who was crying. The Lord asked the man, "Why are you crying, my son?" The man said that he was blind and had never seen a sunset.

The Lord touched the man...he could see, and he was happy.

As the Lord walked further, he met another man crying and asked, "Why are you crying, my son?" The man was born a cripple and was never able to walk.

The Lord touched him, he was able to walk, and he was happy.

Farther down the road, the Lord met another man who was crying and asked, "Why are you crying, my son?" The man said, "Lord, I work for the Government,"

The Lord sat down and cried with him.

It all depends. This joke is way too vague. Since the "Lord" seems to be speaking in English, one might assume that the joke is referring to God. However, if the "Lord" in the joke is Mohammed or Buddha, the joke takes on new meaning. Personally, I think the guy in the joke is a Satanist, and that the "Lord" is the Dark Angel himself. The guy is crying because the devil keeps sticking him with his pitchfork, and the devil is crying just to be an *** and make fun of the guy. That's actually a funnier image than the joke.

Well I thought it was pretty funny, I would feel sad if I met someone that worked for the government too.. The government sucks, but then again if we didn't have them, we wouldn't be the America that we are today, in all the good, and the bad ways.. Thanks for the laugh.. ;)
