Yes, I would imagine kissing would be on the ladder to a closer, intimate relationship. I can't imagine why your BF is distant, other than either 1) He lost interest, or 2) He has someone else on the side and feels guilty kissing you. My wife has an expression she's likely apply to a situation like this: Think the worst, and your probably right.

Hey, at least you didn't sleep with him before he broke it off. Good luck in future relationships. Don't worry, not all us guys are dogs.

I kissed a girl i tried to kiss her deeply, she didn't kiss back at all. After it she told me I'm not her style but we could always be friends, and so we are, I actually miss her as a friend now she's moved to another city for a new job later on. So I would not say a kiss is necesarily the start o a relationship. Either way kissing someone you are breaking up with gives a double message that can confuse both and make it even harder and more painful

After a kiss if a person wants to go seperate that means the body language that got passed during the kiss has given him the answer that the relationship would not be good for him.

maybe ur bf wanted more than a kiss. i agree that a kiss is more intimate than the "deed" itself, but not all men see things from our perspective. sumthin else is prolly goin' on here though. have a sit down & get to the bottom of it that way u won't be the one left w/ ur mouth hanging open in disbelief.

Find someone new but make sure that you do not make love for at least 6 months so that you are sure that he is not going with you just for sex.
Then let the romance blossom. Don't be an easy girl

I THINK EITHER HE HAS EYES FOR SOMEONE ELSE OR ISNT MATURE ENOUGH NOW TO HANDLE INTIMACY. HE MAY BE THINKING ABOUT THE THINGS THAT GO WITH A ROMANCE AND MARRIAGE FOR EXAMPLE JOB,MONEY ETC. IF HE IS IN SCHOOL OR JUST STARTING A NEW FIELD OF EMPLOYMENT HE MAY FEEL LIKE A LOVE RELATIONSHIP NOW IS TOO MUCH FOR HIM TO BEAR. ITS POSSIBLE HIS FAMILY IS TELLING HIM TO COOL IT.

LET HIM GO.
You are correct a kiss is intimate (and a lot more intimate than sex).
My guess is he is not looking for intimacy so best let him move on.

this simply means dat the boy is a pure crap!! he only uses galz and doesnt have any feelings for the same!!
its better to stay away from such guyz cuz, whenever something goes wrong, its the gal who is blamed and never the boy!!

so have, self-respect and dignity. more further, the more better!!

I THINK A KISS IN A RELATIONSHIP IS SUPPOSE TO SPARK BETWEEN TWO! IF HE DID NOT FEEL IT AND WANTS OUT, LET HIM GO HE IS NOT FOR YOU.
