It depends on how you want to divide them. It also depends on how finely you define 'nutrients.' Most likely the answer your teacher is looking for is fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.

From the point of Nutrition-those chemicals which the body(with respect to Human) is not able to synthesise on its own from C,H.O.N.S.P sources in the staple/ancillary food-therfore to be essentialy supplied in the diet called "Essential"(Aminoacids-Fatty acids-Vitamins,Minerals etc) are important nutrients.
